Celebrity Golf Classic

On June 30, 2008, REACH held its third annual Celebrity Golf Classic at Green Valley Ranch. There were almost 100 players with celebrities including Karl, Ed McCaffrey, Kevin Greene, Billy Thomson, Tyrone Braxton, and Le-Lo Lang. The weather and pace of play was terrific and Green Valley Ranch did a wonderful job of hosting the event. Every player received a football autographed by Karl and the other celebrities.

Tournament sponsors included many top Denver companies including Northwestern Mutual/Theodore Financial Group, Big O Tires, Prologis, Reilly Pozner LLP, Cimarex, First Bank, IHS, Verizon, Tek Systems, Accent Windows, and First Bank. The silent auction fundraiser featured sports memorabilia signed by Broncos, Nuggets, and Avalanche players including Champ Bailey, Carmelo Anthony, John Lynch, Joe Sakic, Marcus Camby, Elvis Dumervil, Ryan Smith and Broncos' head coach Mike Shanahan. The event was a great success and raised more than $20,000.
